A specialist in kilims since the early 1970s, the TRIFF gallery has largely contributed to making these weavings known in France and Europe. Since its creation, the gallery has always favored the criteria of quality, authenticity, aesthetics and originality for the choice of its kilims.
Sofreh of the Afshar tribes, Iran - First half of the 20th century
This sofreh features a sober center with just two floating green circles. Its high-contrast border is decorated with a chic, repetitive red-and-white pattern.
A real contemporary painting, this piece can be mounted on the wall.
Kilim mid-20th century, from a region between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers south of Baghdad
This kilim from the Samawa region has a beautiful harmony of colors.
Its softer weave and less-tight embroidery made it ideal for use as a hanging or bedspread. It is therefore unsuitable for the floor in high-traffic areas.
